Black & Brew is such a gem. The space is beautifully designed—clean, modern, and inviting—with both cozy indoor seating and a spacious, shaded outdoor patio that’s perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The atmosphere feels calm and thoughtfully curated, making it a great spot to work, read, or just enjoy a quiet moment. Their seasonal drinks are creative and delicious (the Mexican hot chocolate and peppermint mocha are standouts), and everything is clearly made with care. The pastry case is tempting, the menu is easy to read, and the overall setup feels intentional and welcoming. What really stands out is the vibe—comfortable, stylish, and warm without feeling pretentious. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a while, Black & Brew is a place you’ll want to come back to again and again. Highly recommend

I can’t make a trip to Lakeland without stopping by Black & Brew!! We love hanging out & relaxing on their locations with porches for lunch, with our pup or mobile ordering drive thru pickup. The staff always provides friendly & caring service. They are very knowledgeable & share their recommendations for the best B&B experience. I got the cereal milk shaken espresso & it is hands-down the best cereal milk latte I have had anywhere! Thank you :)

My new favorite coffee shop in Lakeland. Their peanut butter cup frappe is literally the best thing ever. So good, I taken a picture of the the after effect. Also to the guy complaining in his review about waiting 27 minutes for coffee . Respectfully! star bucks is absolutely trash compared to this shop. And this shop serves natural coffee, without the chemicals, which is the opposite of star bucks.

Absolutely love the vibes at Black and Brew’s Southside location! The atmosphere here is so friendly and inviting—perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is always super attentive and upbeat, making every visit a pleasure. I ordered the Granola Bowl - Peanut Butter Bowl (peanut butter yogurt, house-made granola, banana, chocolate chips & local honey), and it was fresh and delicious. Paired it with a smooth Latte and their banana and chocolate bread—everything tasted amazing. Can’t wait to come back!

A Lakeland staple for coffee and yummy, quality food at a reasonable price! Do yourself a favor and try the coquito shaken espresso around the holidays. It will change your life! We love black and brew and I know you will too!

Love supporting local family owned businesses! B&B food is always yummy and their frappe’s are amazing. I love them because they’re not over the top too sweet the peanut butter or the almond, the holiday special ones are amazing! The employees are always professional and extra kind!

The bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich was superb. “Real” bread. I usually take sweetener in my coffee, but the dark roast with some almond milk was so good I didn’t use any sweetener. I sat inside. The exterior wall is all windows and gives the interior atmosphere a comfortable, non closed-in, feeling.

I come here often for a chai latte - I don’t know how they make it so much better than any other coffee shop! The food is always great as well, no matter if I just need a sweet treat, light breakfast, or a meal. Definitely a great place to get some work done too, especially on the patio if the weather is nice.
